HCLTech, a pioneer technology corporation globally has ended the announcement of a vast strategic partnership with Google Cloud. The partnership specifically works to accelerate Agentic AI adoption within a range of industries to leave behind simple chatbots and move towards more complex and autonomous systems capable of reasoning and acting in enterprise processes.

The two technological powerhouses will design to move companies out of the trial stage of Generative AI and into full-scale, production-scale Agentic AI solutions by leveraging the advanced skills of HCLTech in the engineering field with the innovative models of Google Cloud, Gemini.

Chatbot Killer: Agentic AI

The current stage of AI is not as dependent on text and image generation, but the next level point is Agentic AI. They are not the so-called co-pilots, who are waiting until people give them commands, those are intelligent agents, who can perform multi-step actions, take decisions based on the data, communicate with software directly inside of the company.

With the help of such cooperation, HCLTech will use Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise and Gemini models to create their own AI agents. These agents are meant to be at the core of the operations of the firms, and they help with:

  • Software Development: HCLTech AI Force platform automates the code generation, debugging, and documentation processes.
  • Enterprise Workflows: Integration of multi-faceted business processes within HR, Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Infrastructure Management: Transitioning to no-ops through giving agents the autonomy to self-ticket IT issues and maintain healthiness of the system.

Significant Milestones of the HCLTech and Google Cloud Partnership

In order to make sure that Enterprise AI can be scaled to their effective deployment of these solutions, the collaboration is based on some strategic areas:

1. Innovation Solution and the AI Force Platform

The Gemini family of models is being severely embedded into the HCLTech AI Force platform. This merger assists in altering the software development lifecycle (SDLC) because Gemini Code Assist has been made available to thousands of engineers. Not only is this faster than handwriting in terms of coding, there is a general improvement of quality and security of the piece of software being developed.

2. Directorate-level Specialty Agentic Center of Excellence (CoE)

HCLTech is developing its dedicated Agentic AI center of excellence. This center is concerned with the development of industry agents. For instance:

  • Insight: Special purpose agent used in the manufacturing industry to examine defects.
  • Netsight: This is a product that helps the telecommunication industry optimize network operations and troubleshooting.

3. Massive Talent Upskilling

HCLTech has made a huge investment in a talent development program to sustain this giant push. The organization aims at increasing its workforce that is certified by Google Cloud (currently 12,000) to no less than 35,000 professionals broken down among the coming three years. It will make sure that they possess the human-in-the-loop understanding necessary to implement autonomous agents safely and to control them.

4. Physical Gemini Experience Zones

The partners have made an interesting application of bridging the concept-reality gap by establishing physical Gemini Experience Zones in specific parts around the world. These hubs will act as AI test labs whereby a client may test prototypes and differentiate how Agentic AI can address their business issues on a large scale before rolling out a full installation.

The Why of This to Global Enterprises

Integration has been the greatest challenge of AI adoption by many businesses. Demos are amazing, but it is hard to connect AI with the old systems such as the Oracle, SAP or VMware. This alliance deals with it directly. HCLTech is significantly employing the use of Agentic AI to develop Unified Migrations so that companies can migrate their complex workloads to Google Cloud, at the same time, instilling AI abilities into it, driving a true Digital Transformation.

“The new strategic alliance will support our collective vision with Google Cloud to assist companies in expanding AI adoption according to their business goals,” said Vijay Guntur, CTO and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech.

The Road Ahead

The momentum can be seen as over 2,000 GenAI led customer engagements are already underway. Since HCLTech and Google Cloud are collaborators for AI to work, the idea is to elevate Agentic AI in the contemporary Enterprise AI technology stack. They are establishing the future in which AI is not merely speaking to us, but also serving us by working on security-by-design and scalable infrastructure.
